Need something notarized? Come in — we'll be notary-equipped every day we're open. No appointment, no membership, no hassle. Standard New York State fees apply ($2 per signature). If you need something printed or scanned as part of the process, our print desk can handle that on the same visit.
A notary public in New York verifies identity and witnesses signatures — that's the core job. A notary cannot give legal advice, draft your document, tell you whether to sign, or interpret what the document means. If you need legal guidance, bring the questions to an attorney before you come in to sign.
New York State caps standard notary fees at $2.00 per signature. That's what we charge — no surcharges, no "convenience fees." If you need multiple copies notarized, or if your document has multiple signers, the fee is per signature.
No. Notary is walk-in during our regular business hours. If you're coming for a complex multi-party signing, a quick heads-up email helps us set aside time.
No — please don't. The notary is required to witness your signature in person. Bring the document unsigned.
Any government-issued photo ID that's current and unexpired: driver's license, non-driver state ID, U.S. passport, U.S. passport card, permanent resident card, or military ID.
$2.00 per signature — the standard New York State fee. If your document needs two signatures notarized, it's $4. If you're renting a mailbox with us, we'll notarize your USPS Form 1583 for free.
We can notarize a signature on a document in any language as long as we can identify the signer and confirm they understand what they're signing. If you don't read English fluently, please bring someone who can explain the document to you — the notary cannot.
I-9 employment forms are typically not notarized (they're verified by an authorized employer representative). We can't notarize birth, marriage, or death certificates — those are issued by the state, not notarized.
Staff members can sometimes witness if available, but we can't guarantee it — please bring your own witnesses when your document requires them. Witnesses must also bring valid ID.
We notarize the document; after that, you'll submit it to the New York Department of State for the apostille. We can walk you through the process and, if helpful, ship the completed document through our shipping counter.
